We are Philippe and Frederique, the owners of iSails and iSpinnakers. We are sailors ourselves.
We sell sails online, but we don’t believe buying a sail should feel impersonal.
Since starting the business in 2007, we have supplied sails to customers all over the world. Just as importantly, we have built the business around something that can be hard to find online: personal attention and real help from people who know sailing.
- If you are not sure which sail is right for your boat, ask us.
- If you have questions about size, options or how you plan to use it, we will help you sort through them.
- And if something does not seem right after your sail arrives, we want to hear about it.
You are not dealing with an anonymous company, or a person who will take the first call and pass you over to someone else. You are dealing directly with us throughout.
That personal attention has been part of our business from the beginning.
We operate from three locations: Park City, Utah in the United States, near Lyon in France, and near Sydney in Australia.
We operate 2 brands:
- iSpinnakers focuses on downwind sails and accompanying furlers. Most iSpinnakers customers are individual sailors, from someone buying a first cruising spinnaker to experienced sailors looking for a particular sail or setup for their boat, or planning for a Transat / Transpac.
- iSails focuses on smaller dinghy boats and small keel boats. iSails customers include individual sailors, sailing schools and university sailing teams, and community sailing clubs all around the world.
